Official PA TV program "Reporters in the Field"

Coordinator of the national campaign to rebuild homes demolished by Israel Mazen Al-Dunbuk: "Yesterday [Dec. 16, 2018] we built four homes in the Nablus district for the heroes of the Itamar operation in Beit Furik (i.e., terror attack, 2 murdered), and now the families are living in their homes. The headline of this campaign is the family of heroic Martyr Ashraf Na’alwa (i.e., terrorist, murdered 2) and the family of prisoner Nasser Abu Hmeid (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 7)."

Ragheb Ahmad Muhammad Aliwi, Yahya Muhammad Naif Abdallah Hajj Hamad, Samir Zuheir Ibrahim Kousa, Karam Lutfi Fathi Rizq, and Ziad Jamil Amer - Palestinian terrorists and members of a Hamas cell who murdered Israelis Naama and Eitam Henkin (also an American citizen) in a shooting attack on Oct. 1, 2015, on the road between the towns Itamar and Elon Moreh in the West Bank. Naama and Eitam’s four children, aged 9, 7, 4, and 4 months, were also in the car and witnessed the murders, but were not physically injured.
When Aliwi, Hamad, Kousa, Rizq, and Amer were arrested by Israel they confessed to the murders. Aliwi, the leader of the group, previously served time in an Israeli prison for other security related crimes. Aliwi, Hamad, Kousa, and Rizq are each serving 2 life sentences and an additional 30 years for these murders. Amer's trial has not yet concluded as of Jan. 10, 2019.

Na'alwa fled the scene, but was located on Dec. 13, 2018 in Nablus and shot and killed in a shootout. Israel partially demolished Na'alwa's house as a deterrent measure on Dec. 17, 2018.The Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas' military wing) claimed responsibility for the attack. Until this attack, the Barkan Industrial Zone had been an example of coexistence with Israelis and Palestinians working together.

Nasser Abu Hmeid - Palestinian terrorist and a commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing) in Ramallah who was responsible for the murder of 7 Israelis: Eli Cohen in a shooting attack on Route 443 in central Israel on Dec. 21, 2000; Binyamin and Talia Kahane in a drive-by shooting attack near Ofra, north of Jerusalem, on Dec. 31, 2000; Gadi Rejwan in a shooting attack in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Atarot on Feb. 27, 2002; and Yosef Habi, Eli Dahan, and Police Officer Sergeant-Major Salim Barakat in an attack at the Seafood Market and Mifgash Hasteak restaurants in Tel Aviv on March 5, 2002. Abu Hmeid is serving 7 life sentences and an additional 50 years.
