Abbas honors terrorist Dalal Mughrabi with birthday celebration

The PA sponsored a ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of Dalal Mughrabi, who led the most lethal terror attack in Israel's history with the 1978 hijacking of a bus that killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children. Two PA TV news broadcasts focused on the celebration:
"Under the auspices of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Political and National Education Authority held a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi. The ceremony included a live performance with songs of the [Fatah] Revolution, and poems about the sense of belonging and loyalty to this homeland."

The text on the giant banner carrying Mughrabi's portrait at the birthday ceremony read:
"Under the auspices of President Mahmoud Abbas, The Political and National Education Authority, Ceremony on the anniversary of the birth of the bride of the cosmos, The Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi."
