Fatah glorifies 1975 Savoy Hotel terror attack that killed 11 Israelis

Posted text: “The Savoy operation (i.e., terror attack, 11 murdered) was carried out by eight Fatah Movement fighters who reached occupied Palestine (a Tel Aviv beach –Ed.) by sea in boats and attacked the famous Savoy Hotel in o ccupied Tal Al-Rabia (i.e., Tel Aviv; see note below) and took control of it.
According to the sources, the battle between the band of self-sacrificing fighters (Fedayeen) and the occupation army led to the destruction of the hotel, the killing of 50 ‘Israeli’ soldiers (sic., 3 Israeli soldiers were killed, in addition to 8 civilian hostages), and the wounding of dozens. The operation came in response to the assassination of Fatah Movement leaders Martyr (Shahid) Kamal Adwan (i.e., a senior member of the Black September terror organization), Martyr Kamal Nasser (i.e., a senior member of Black September), and Martyr Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar (i.e., one of the founders of Fatah and commander of operations of Black September).

Savoy terror attack: In March 1975, eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were murdered by the terrorists during the attack.
Tal Al-Rabia is the Palestinians’ Arabic translation of Tel Aviv, to wrongly imply the existence of an Arab village of that name prior to Tel Aviv.
Kamal Adwan and Kamal Nasser were both senior members of Black September, a secret branch of Fatah, who were killed by Israeli forces in April 1973. Kamal Nasser was also the spokesperson for the PLO and Fatah. Kamal Adwan was responsible for Fatah terrorist operations in Israel.
Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar - was Arafat's deputy and among the founders of Fatah. He was the Commander of Al-Asifa, Fatah’s military unit, and member of Fatah’s Central Committee and PLO’s Executive Committee. He also was the Commander of Operations of the terrorist organization Black September, a secret branch of Fatah, and involved in the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics (Sept. 5, 1972). He was killed by Israel in 1973.
Intilaqa - "the Launch" refers to the beginning of Fatah on Jan. 1, 1965, when it carried out its first terror attack against Israel, attempting to blow up Israel's National Water Carrier.
