Fatah disseminates antisemitic photoshopped image that claims Jews promote "death to the Goyim," in order to smear Israeli security services

Image and text posted on the official Fatah Facebook page

Posted text: “Isn’t the attack against Ahed Tamimi (i.e., Palestinian teenager who served 8 months for incitement and assaulting Israeli soldiers) strange???
And what about Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children)???? When she carried out the most important operation (i.e., terror attack) on the Palestinian coast (sic., the Israeli coast)??? and declared the Republic of Palestine from there … This is a plan of the Israeli Security Agency in order to smear her.”

The original version of this photo apparently appeared in Security Info Watch, on July 8, 2009.

A photoshopped version of this image, of unknown provenance, has appeared on several anti-Israel websites such as If Americans Knew.  The new photoshopped image shows a man who is now wearing a kippah (Jewish skullcap) and looking at a panel of screens. To the left an Israeli flag has been added to the image. Above the screens, text in English was added  that calls for death to non-Jews: “Death to the Goyim.” [If Americams Knew blog, June 18, 2018]

Fatah added the image of Palestinian teen Ahed Tamimi to the panel of screens. At the bottom of the image Fatah added the following text: “The smear campaign against Ahed Tamimi is being waged by the occupation through its tools, and who is benefiting from this?”

Ahed Tamimi – Female Palestinian teenager who assaulted Israeli soldiers on Dec. 15, 2017, near the village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah, and promoted "Martyrdom-seeking operations" - i.e., suicide bombings - in a filmed message immediately afterwards. Ahed was convicted of assault and incitement and served an 8 month prison sentence. She was released on July 29, 2018. After her release, she met with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas who called Ahed - who has a history of assaulting Israeli soldiers - "a role model for the Palestinian struggle."

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
