The man, who is wearing a Santa Claus hat and smoking while holding a Palestinian flag, is showing his middle finger in a rude gesture directed at an Israeli soldier over the Israeli security wall that separates them. The Israeli soldier, who has a Star of David on his helmet and a long nose, is holding an assault rifle and standing guard in an army lookout tower, from which an Israeli flag is waving.
