O, criminal Jews, you cannot remain on our land, and we will never renounce even one grain of our land… Their state is about to disappear.”

Head preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque: US recognition of Jerusalem “as capital of the Jews,” will be “a new war against the Palestinians, the Arabs, and the Muslims”

Sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Head of the Supreme Muslim Council and head preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ikrima Sabri:
"My sermon will deal with... the promise [by US President-elect Trump] to transfer the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Why did [he] promise this? ... In order to please the Jews in America and the world at the expense of the right of the original people of Palestine, because transferring the embassy is an acknowledgement that Jerusalem is a capital for the Jews, and an annulment of the right of the Muslims to the city. This promise opposes the so-called international resolutions, which view Jerusalem as an occupied city and not an Israeli city... It means that America recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of the Jews. In doing so, America will declare a new war against the Palestinians and also against the Arabs and the Muslims... This is the true face of America. It is not thinking of how to achieve peace for you at all. America equipped Israel with advanced fighter jets a few days ago. America has ignited wars in most of the countries of the Arab and Muslim world, and these wars continue to burn."

Palestinian "expert" on Israeli Affairs tells PA TV: "Ideas of the Satans bring decisions denying the freedom of religion through a racist approach"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 12, 2016
Official PA TV program Panorama of the Hour, hosting Palestinian expert on Israeli affairs Ahed Farwaneh, on the ban on broadcasting Muezzin calls by loudspeaker
Palestinian expert on Israeli affairs Ahed Farwaneh: (Calls of “Allahu Akbar" can be heard in the background –Ed.) "Words that have been heard in the skies of Jerusalem since the Islamic conquest, bells ringing in the church, religious ceremonies that call to worship and prayer - this is one of the rights that people realize. [But] then my hand was turned away and ideas of the Satans bring decisions denying the freedom of religion through a racist approach: The strong survive."

On Nov. 13, 2016, a bill to ban religious institutions from broadcasting over loudspeakers was approved for a preliminary reading in the Israeli Parliament. The bill is intended to prevent noise pollution. This bill is referred to by many as the "Muezzin Law," although it does not refer to any specific religion.
Other countries have already approved or attempted legislation for regulating the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to limit noise pollution. These include India, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Bahrain, the United Emirates, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, the UK, Austria, Norway, and Belgium, and the US. The PA has also passed legislation regarding the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to reduce noise pollution.
Fatah cartoon: Israel, depicted as an Orthodox Jew, murders innocent Palestinians and complains to a sympathetic world that it’s being attacked
Source: Website of Fatah's Information and ‎Culture Commission, Nov. 28, 2016

Cartoon posted on the website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission

Headline: “Scamming the world!”

The cartoon shows a man with money in his pocket holding up a frame in the style of National Geographic. An ultra-Orthodox Jew with a large Star of David on his shirt is seen in the frame, crying over his wounded finger. The man holding the frame is crying as well while looking at the Jew. Outside of the frame the Jew is holding a smoking assault rifle and standing with a foot planted on bleeding bodies on the ground, above which is written “Gaza,” with the Dome of the Rock seen in the background. The cartoon appears to be implying that the world is giving sympathy and money to Israel and treating it as a victim while ignoring its actions.

Or your body parts will be gathered and you’ll be thrown into the fire of hell...
O Zionist, you won’t be able to sleep any more
My rocket longs for you, and it will land on you
From the tunnels underneath you, I’ll pull you by the legs...
Pack up your things and bye, leave, crazy [person]
You left your country and came to die in my land here...
O Zionist, when you walk, look left and right
Because I’m coming at you with a machine gun, axe, or with a knife...
Say farewell to your family before you get on a bus or a car...
Underneath there is a bomb and the Martyrdom seeker will blow himself up..."

PA daily: Balfour, like Hitler, wanted to get rid of the Jews, so he sent them to Palestine instead of killing them
Source: Falestinona, website of Fatah's Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Nov. 23, 2016
Headline: “Reconsidering the Balfour Declaration”

“[Former British Foreign Secretary Arthur] Balfour was himself an Antisemite, and he often attacked the Jews who immigrated to Britain during his term as prime minister from 1903-1905 (sic., 1902- 1905), and he said that they are not assimilating among the residents, and issued laws that limited the Jewish immigration (Aliens Act) [parentheses in source]. He reasoned that the Jews, as an organic group, could not solve their problem within the European cultural structure, in other words, through assimilation in the [European] societies (sic ., Balfour was quoted as saying Jews could either assimilate in Europe or establish a state in Palestine; see note below). The solution would only be possible outside of the cultural structure, in other words, through colonialism…
The difference between [Adolf] Hitler and Balfour in this field was that Balfour had colonies, among them Palestine, and he sent the Jews there in order to get rid of them. Hitler did not have colonies, and therefore he got rid of them through extermination. However, the true victims of both Balfour and Hitler were the Palestinians and the Arabs, and we are still paying the price after 100 years.”

The article appears in the November 2016 edition of the magazine of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Al-Quds, and was posted on the commission’s website Falestinona on Nov. 23, 2016.

A cartoon showing a Palestinian boy and girl sitting next to each other is included in the article.

Boy: “The Balfour Promise? I think that is the reason that you and I were registered as refugees in the camp.”

Headline: “The Balfour Promise”

The cartoon shows two men standing under a light fixture labelled “The Balfour Promise.” The man on the right represents Britain and is passing a rolled piece of paper symbolizing the Balfour Declaration to the other. On his sleeve is written: “One who has no ownership.” The man on the left represents the Jews. He is dressed as an ultra-orthodox Jew and on his sleeve is written: “One who has no right.”

The Balfour Declaration of Nov. 2, 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Baron Rothschild stating that “His Majesty's government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people” and is seen as the basis for later international commitments to establish the State of Israel.

Headline: “Putting Britain - giver of the [Balfour] Promise - on trial"
Excerpt of op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily
“Tomorrow, Wednesday [Nov. 2, 2016], will be the 99th anniversary of the ominous Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration), the promise of the Foreign Secretary of Not-Great Britain [Arthur Balfour] to the members of the Jewish religion to establish ‘a national homeland' for them in Arab Palestine, the historical homeland of the Palestinian Arab people since the creation of mankind on earth. The barbarity of this offensive promise made by the government of the state of the British Mandate in Palestine is not expressed solely by its being issued, but also by the activity to implement it in the field, as the Supreme British Commissioner in Palestine, the Jew Herbert Samuels, legislated laws and regulations that assisted in the implementation of the ominous promise on the Palestinian land. Likewise, it created all of the social, political, economic, and legal conditions for the establishment of a homeland for the Zionist movement in return for it [the Zionist movement] constituting a tool for carrying out the ambitions of the capitalist West in Palestine and in the Arab homeland, and also in order to resolve the Jewish issue in Europe, at the expense of the Palestinian people...”

Fatah cartoon depicts UNESCO revealing naked Jew, denying Jewish connection to the Temple Mount
Source: Website of Fatah's Information and ‎Culture Commission, Oct. 27, 2016

Cartoon posted on the Website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission

Headline: “Undressing the Zionist project”

The cartoon shows a hand lifting the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) logo, and thereby exposing a naked religious Jew as identified by his beard, long nose, and hat featuring a Star of David.

Text on cartoon: “UNESCO: There is no religious connection between the Jews and the Al-Aqsa Mosque”

UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) passed a resolution in Paris on “Occupied Palestine” on Oct. 13, 2016, with 24 countries voting in favor, 6 against, and 24 abstentions. The resolution was later approved by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee on Oct. 26, 2016, in a secret ballot in which ten countries voted in favor of the resolution, two opposed, eight abstained, and one country, Jamaica, was absent.
In the resolution UNESCO refers to the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism, only as “Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif,” and presents it only as a “Muslim holy site.” The resolution condemns “escalating Israeli aggressions” and Israeli “violations” at the site, and calls on Israel “to respect the integrity, authenticity and cultural heritage of Al-Aq?a Mosque/Al-?aram Al-Sharif… as a Muslim holy site of worship.” The resolution likewise refers to the Western Wall Plaza as the “Al-Buraq Plaza ‘Western Wall Plaza,’” adding quotation marks to the Jewish name for the site.
The resolution was submitted by Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, and Sudan.
The countries voting for the resolution were: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Ch

Abbas’ official appointment of Hamato

The Al-Azhar institutes are schools that prepare students for studies at the Al-Azhar University, which was established in Gaza by a decree of Yasser Arafat in 1991. The institutes follow the curriculum of the Al-Azhar Institute in Egypt rather than the PA curriculum. Al-Azhar University’s website describes it as independent, but the PA has some control as shown by the fact that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas appointed Imad Hamato as dean of the institutes.

PMW has documented many antisemitic statements by Hamato. Click link to bulletin (above) for details

Fatah cartoon: Long-nosed Jew explodes Muslim world
Source: Website of Fatah's Information and ‎Culture Commission, Oct. 18, 2016
Cartoon posted on the website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission

Headline:
“No commentary!”
The cartoon shows a long-nosed Jew with an Israeli flag on his arm lighting a fuse to blow up a bomb. Inside the bomb, a Shi'ite Muslim and a Sunni Muslim are lighting fuses to blow up each other.  The cartoon expresses the libel that Jews/Israel seek to destroy the Muslim world, and are possibly taking advantage of the internal Muslim fighting to do so. The cartoon is also critical of the Muslim world, which is depicted as so focused on killing each other that they do not see the Jews taking advantage of it to kill them.

PA Ambassador to France: Balfour Declaration “stemmed from the desire to solve… ‘the Jewish problem’ in Europe by creating a homeland for them… so that Europe would be rid of the problem of its Jews”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 11, 2016
Headline: “Palestine participates in a seminar in the French Senate marking 100 years since Sykes-Picot”
“The Vigilance Committee for Real Peace in the Middle East (CVPR-PO) yesterday [Oct. 10, 2016] held a seminar in the French Senate… Ambassador of Palestine in France Salman Al-Harfi… said that this [Balfour] Promise stemmed from the desire to solve what was called ‘the Jewish problem’ in Europe by creating a homeland for them (i.e., the Jews) and transferring them to it, so that Europe would be rid of the problem of its Jews.”

PA National Security Forces posts on Facebook a cartoon depicting an Israeli soldier ‘boxing’ the Al-Aqsa Mosque
Source: Facebook page of the PA National Security Forces, Oct. 6, 2016

Cartoon posted on the Facebook page of the PA National Security Forces

The cartoon shows an Israeli soldier with “Israel” written on his shirt and a Star of David on his helmet squaring off against the Dome of the Rock Mosque in a boxing ring, indicating the often repeated Palestinian claim that Israel is “attacking” the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock Mosque. The PA National Security Forces logo appears in the corner.

The PA and its leaders view any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount as an “attack.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
Cartoon in PA daily: Israel controls the US which controls the world
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 4, 2016

In the cartoon, a small soldier with a Star of David on his helmet is seen giving orders to a taller man with blank eyes, representing the US. The large man's hat is made of the American flag but with a six-pointed Star of David replacing the five-pointed star. The "US" is holding a basketball that resembles a globe, and "Israel" is directing the "US" to shoot the globe-shaped basketball into a basket which is also shaped of a Star of David. Implying that while America controls the world, it is Israel who orders America what to do with the world.

Note: The cartoon was originally published in July 2014 in The Sydney Morning Herald as commentary on the 2014 Gaza War. After repeated public protests and threats of legal action by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, the newspaper apologized and called it "a serious error in judgement." Fatah's choosing to publish the cartoon now, without any reference to Gaza, is clearly their statement about today's international conflicts.
Op-ed in official PA daily: "Summary executions" are "Israel’s way of getting rid of those it wants to get rid of," ever since Biblical times
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 19, 2016
Headline: “The summary executions – a policy that is escalating”
Excerpt from op-ed by Yahya Rabah, regular columnist for the official PA daily and member of the Fatah Leadership Committee in Gaza
“I was horrified when I saw a video on one of the Palestinian satellite channels that it was claimed showed Martyr (Shahid) [Hatem] Al-Shaloudi, and the two analysts said that this video is proof that Al-Shaloudi stabbed an Israeli soldier. The footage that was shown on this channel is not clear, and in no way is there a stabbing operation in it…
But why did the satellite channel, which calls itself a Palestinian satellite channel, claim [that Al-Shaloudi stabbed a soldier] – this question remains unanswered...
In general, the trend of summary executions is a fixed trend that is growing stronger in the Zionist ideology, which draws [inspiration] from the Biblical story, which always incites to murder and wipe out the other. This trend has existed since the Book of Exodus, through [the Book of] Judges, and up to the Book of Kings, and the reasons are always attributed to divine commands! ...
The summary executions always exist. They are Israel’s way of getting rid of those it wants to get rid of, even if they are Jews who are from a different ideological and political stream. The loss of media control in our circles to which we are witness these days is a most damaging loss of control, which does not serve us at all… and provides the main enemy – the occupation – with a free service.”

Official PA daily describes Jewish visits to the Temple Mount as “attempts to defile the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque with repeated Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) activities”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 8, 2016
Headline: “‘Settler wedding’ at the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“At the Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday [Sept. 7, 2016] a tense atmosphere prevailed in light of invasions and provocative tours that were held by groups of the settler gangs, and attempts to defile the mosque with repeated Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) activities.”

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
