Dalal Mughrabi, the terrorist who led the most lethal attack against Israel, in which 37 people were murdered in 1978, was born in January and her date of birth has been celebrated and honorably noted by Abbas' Fatah movement and others.

Awdah TV, whose General Supervisor is Fatah's spokesman Ahmad Assaf, broadcast at length from a party celebrating the terrorist's birthday. Fatah's logo was displayed on stage.

"Martyr Dalal Mughrabi raised the Palestinian flag from the heart of occupied Palestine," stated the Awdah reporter. "On her birthday we renew the promise to her and its fulfillment. Martyr Dalal Mughrabi will remain a path for the next generations to follow." [Fatah-run Awdah TV and Awdah TV Facebook,

Several young people participating in the event said that terrorist Mughrabi, who led the murder of 37, is their role model. One woman said:

"I ask Allah to have mercy on her. She is our role model, an example for every Palestinian young woman. Dalal did everything we dream of doing. We are obviously proud of her, and she is the pride of all of us... she is our role model and we will follow her example... If only we could do just a part of what she did for Palestine."

An actress who played the terrorist in a film and who is also a member of Fatah's student movement's university sorority, the Sisters of Dalal, said that Dalal Mughrabi "is inspiring" and that the students "renew" their "promise to her and her soul":

"Dalal Mughrabi is inspiring. We draw [inspiration] from her - from her struggle and her life story. She inspires us and gives us the strength to complete the journey after her. We [are present] in the universities and the colleges, as the Sisters of Dalal Committee [of Fatah's Shabiba student movement] - and this is in itself a trust and great responsibility on our shoulders, for we bear the name of a Martyr the size of the land: Martyr Dalal Mughrabi. On her birthday, we renew our promise to her and her soul. We tell her: Rest in peace, as we walk the path. We will complete the journey after you until Palestine is liberated and until we attain a free and independent State of Palestine..."

Palestinian Media Watchhas documented similar expressions of admirationby young female students at a school named after Dalal Mughrabi.

At the recent birthday party, the director of the Palestinian Poets and Writers Association, Muhammad Ayyad, praised Dalal Mughrabi as "the Purple Gazelle, the Flower of the Land, Martyr Dalal Mughrabi."

Recently, Palestinian Media Watch reported that Fatah and PLO organized a tournament named after terrorist Mughrabi: "The Martyr Raed Al-Karmi and Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Tournament." Fatah also honored Dalal Mughrabi in several postson its Facebook page, one of them showing a photo of her dead body and praising her for "watering the soil with her blood":

Posted text: "'Tell my merciful mother, my father and my sisters to wipe away their tears of sorrow, for I am now the daughter of the land. 'Revolution until victory' - Dalal Mughrabi on March 9, 1978. The most beautiful picture of Dalal, as she is watering the soil of Palestine with her blood."

Last month, Abbas' Fatah glorified numerous other "Martyrs", for their "heroic operations," among them 5 terrorists who killed 10 Israeliswho were elevated as "Martyrs of 2014," the terrorist who killed 6 at a private bat-mitzvah celebration in 2002, and another who shot two people to death.

The following is a longer excerpt of the long report broadcast by Fatah-run Awdah TV on the celebrations of terrorist murderer Dalal Mughrabi's date of birth:

Awdah TV reporter: "To eternalize the symbolism of Martyr Dalal Mughrabi, who led the Kamal Adwan operation also known as the 1978 coastal operation (i.e., terror attack, 37 killed), an event was organized on the anniversary of her birth at the Deir Tarif Hall in Ramallah..."
Participant in terrorist's birthday party: "For us, the Palestinian people, Dalal Mughrabi symbolizes resistance. Dalal was a girl less than 20 years old with will and faith, who carried out an operation (i.e., terror attack) with a group of men. At the time, this operation was among the most important military operations against the Israeli occupation, and it drew the world's attention to the Palestinian issue."
Muhammad Ayyad, poet: "We are meeting here today on the 56th anniversary of the birth of the Purple Gazelle, the Flower of the Land, Martyr Dalal Mughrabi."
Participant in terrorist's birthday party: "I ask Allah to have mercy on her. She is our role model, an example for every Palestinian young woman. Dalal did everything we dream of doing. We are obviously proud of her, and she is the pride of all of us. Every year, we will celebrate on her birthday and on the day of her death, for she is our role model and we will follow her example. Allah have mercy on her. If only we could do just a part of what she did for Palestine."
Actress who played the terrorist in a film: "Dalal Mughrabi is inspiring. We draw [inspiration] from her - from her struggle and her life story. She inspires us and gives us the strength to complete the journey after her. We [are present] in the universities and the colleges, as the Sisters of Dalal Committee [of Fatah's
Shabiba student movement] - and this is in itself a trust and great responsibility on our shoulders, for we bear the name of a Martyr the size of the land: Martyr Dalal Mughrabi. On her birthday, we renew our promise to her and her soul. We tell her: Rest in peace, as we walk the path. We will complete the journey after you until Palestine is liberated and until we attain a free and independent State of Palestine..."
Awdah TV reporter : "Martyr Dalal Mughrabi raised the Palestinian flag from the heart of occupied Palestine. Her body is still a prisoner in its shroud, and on her birthday we renew the promise to her and its fulfillment. Martyr Dalal Mughrabi will remain a path for the next generations to follow."
