Imprisoned Palestinian terrorist serving 11 life sentences for “heroic operation,” sends letter demanding return of “resistance”

Headline: “In a letter he sent from his cell in Nafha [Prison] – Prisoner Thaer Hammad: Bringing back the idea of resistance is the ideal way to protect our existence”
“Prisoner Thaer Hammad (i.e., terrorist, murdered 10) said in a letter that he sent from his cell in Nafha Prison: ‘Bringing back the idea of resistance and unity, ending the [Fatah-Hamas] rift, and implementing the reconciliation agreement [between them] are the source of power and the protection for the Palestinian cause. They are the proper response to all the plans and plots the occupation is devising, and to the hostile American trends that are being expressed in [US President Donald] Trump’s policy, whose goal is to harm the Palestinian existence.’
Hammad demanded to resume and revive the spirit of the revolutionary movement, from which the Fatah Movement arose, and the idea of resistance, given that it is the ideal way to protect our cause and our existence in the shadow of the great challenges and dangers that surround us…
Hammad’s letter comes 16 years after the heroic operation (i.e., terror attack) that he carried out in 2002, which is known as the Wadi Al-Haramiya operation. In mentioning it, Hammad noted that his motive for carrying out the operation was his belief in the national obligation and his attempt to inculcate the continuation of the way of resistance on which the Palestinian people has gone throughout the years of its rebellion against the occupation…
Hammad added: ‘The prisoners’ movement is still dealing with a brutal attack that is being led by the Israeli political echelon and its security, military, and legal systems.
The sole response can only be to bring back the resistance as the one and only way to release the prisoners.’”
