Lebanese on PA TV fabricates “massacre” against Palestinians in 1882

Chairman of the Lebanese Committee to Remove the Blockade on Gaza Hani Suleiman: “After the war of June 2006 (sic., July, Second Lebanon War 2006) [Former Israeli Prime Minister] Ehud Olmert appeared in the Israeli Parliament and said: ‘I know we lost the war, that is clear, but as your reward we will respond by creating internal tension among you (i.e., the Palestinians) through religious conflicts (sic ., there are no records of any such statement).’ This in short is how he said it. It is not we who made it up for him… This not only serves Israel; it was created by Israel. This is the Western Zionist plan to create tension among us…
I want to tell you a small story. When we were injured on the freedom flotilla (i.e, the Marmara, 2010) a helicopter transferred us to the suburbs of Tel Aviv, a flight of half an hour from the sea to the suburbs of Tel Aviv. This suburb, perhaps brother [lecturer on international relations at the Lebanese Notre Dame University – Louaize Na'im] Ramzi [Salem] has heard of it, its name is Petah Tikva. In Hebrew it means the key of hope (sic., opening of hope). However its name is Meiser, a Muslim Arab village. A massacre took place in this village against the Muslims and the Arabs in 1882 (sic., the Arab village was Mulabbis. There is no record of a massacre there)."

Hani Suleiman: "Against the Palestinians… I went to look for the name of this village. They told me its name is Meiser. I went into Google, and on Google it showed that there was a massacre, that a Zionist massacre was committed in this village and its residents were expelled."
Marmara refers to the Turkish ship “MV Mavi Marmara” that attempted to break the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip in May 2010 – The “Gaza Freedom Flotilla.” On board the ship were activists and among them terrorists who attacked Israeli soldiers with weapons when they boarded the ship. During the ensuing fight nine of the terrorists on board were killed.
