Fatah official : Area around Temple Mount is “pure Islamic waqf,” Israel spreads “false stories” about Jewish connection to Temple Mount

“Secretary-General of the National Christian Coalition in the Holy Lands and member of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council Dimitri Diliani said that the music festival near the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza actually constitutes the spreading of the occupation’s false narrative. Diliani said yesterday [Feb. 25, 2016] in a radio interview: ‘The festival that the occupation will hold next to the southern wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza is a vain attempt to perpetuate the occupation’s perception of the holy Jerusalem Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount),’ and emphasized that this area is a pure Islamic waqf (i.e., an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law), and that the occupation is spreading false stories.”
