Israeli Arab MP on PA TV: Israel is “fascist” that carries out massacres; “any alliance made with Israel or with the US by the Arab regimes is a satanic alliance”

Official PA TV Live  |
Official PA TV Live program Topic of the Day, on the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem, hosting Israeli Arab MP Aida Touma-Sliman from the Joint [Arab] List

Israeli Arab MP Aida Touma-Sliman: "First of all, before everything, it is important to me to emphasize that the celebrations of the Israeli side that we saw over the transfer of the American embassy [to Jerusalem] are the most reliable expression of this fascist government that leads Israel.
This government, [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu's government, is a government that is going overboard with settlement and occupation. It is a government that turns to war and attempts to ignite wars in the region. Just a week ago we stood before the possibility of the outbreak of comprehensive war in the Middle East (i.e., Israeli air strikes against Iranian bases in Syria in May 2018, in response to rockets fired at Israel by Iranian forces), which Netanyahu began and attempted to ignite because in the end he wants a guarantee for himself and to carry out his policies on the ground before everything, which is the continuation of the occupation and the continuation of the persecution and murder of the Palestinian people…
On the other hand, unfortunately we see that the Arab world is almost silent in the face of what is happening and the massacre that is taking place (refers to the Israeli response to the violent “March of Return” protests; see note below –Ed.). When Netanyahu and his guests drank champagne at their celebrations within the embassy, the occupation army carried out a massacre on orders issued by the government and Prime Minister Netanyahu. America celebrated with the war criminal because it itself was also responsible for this massacre and responsible for all of the injustices that the government of Israel commits, by virtue of its unconditional support for this government. In fact, the US has revealed its true face about which we have talked all along; it is not a positive and neutral mediator for what is called the negotiation process. It has personal goals and personal interests in the region with a connection to the Israeli loyalty to these interests. Israel in fact represents the policeman of the US in this region, and in practice any alliance made with Israel or with the US by the Arab regimes is a satanic alliance."

US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel - On Dec. 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Trump added that the final borders of Jerusalem will be determined during negotiations.
The US embassy opened in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, the anniversary of Israel's declaration of independence in 1948 according to the Gregorian calendar.

"The March of Return" refers to massive violent riots in Gaza in which thousands of Palestinians are rioting on the border with Israel and attempting to cut through the security fence, attacking with firebombs, flaming kites, and gunfire. The riots began on March 30, 2018, and were scheduled to last for 6 weeks until Palestinian "Nakba" Day on May 15. On the day the US embassy opened in Jerusalem, May 14, 2018, the Palestinian attacks escalated and 62 Palestinians were killed. A senior official of the terror organization Hamas, Salah Bardawil, stated that 50 of the 62 belonged to Hamas, while Islamic Jihad identified 3 others as belonging to it.
The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, an Israeli research institute, published research documenting that from the start of the riots on March 30 until May 15, 93 of the 112 Palestinians killed in the riots (approximately 83%) were members of terrorist organizations.
Petitions against the IDF's use of live fire to combat the rioting submitted by organizations that advocate for Palestinian rights were rejected by Israel's Supreme Court on May 24, 2018. The court accepted the state's argument that the riots were "organized and directed" by Hamas, a terrorist organization, and thereby rejecting the claim that the riots were peaceful and civilian in nature. PMW reports were referred to in the Supreme Court's decision.
