Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Jews/Israelis are evil
Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:
Jews/Israelis are evil

PA TV news item accuses Israel of planting mines in Palestinian lands
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 11, 2018
Official PA TV News, on landmines in the Tubas area, hosting Acting Governor of Tubas Ahmed Al-As’ad

Official PA TV reporter: “For International Danger of Mines and War Remnants Awareness Day (i.e., International Mine Awareness Day), the Palestinian Center Against Mines organized an activity to raise awareness in the village of Al-Aqaba, east of Tubas, in order to raise awareness among the residents to the danger posed to their lives as a result of the remnants of war.” […]
Acting Governor of Tubas Ahmed Al-As’ad: “The village Al-Aqaba is being attacked by the occupation in all ways. What is happening in the Al-Aqaba region contradicts the international agreements, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention that requires protecting civilians under occupation. The occupation forces are implementing all the forms of abuse against our people in these areas. They are closing this area, and during training they plant mines in the ground, and that leads to victims dying.”

Op-ed in official PA daily: Israel - “the colonialist satanic plant” of the West “to get rid of the problem of the Jewish ghetto” - will not survive because the “Zionist project… is a project that rejects life”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 5, 2018
Excerpt of an op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“The core and essence of the Anglo-Saxon-Israeli connection were never a secret to anyone, or unclear and vague, because their foundations are obvious and clear, and they are based on the mutual relationship between the Anglo-Saxon decision maker and funder and the Zionist project, so that it will carry out the role and mission required of it. Therefore, the owner of the project of Israel is the West, the entire capitalist West, and the fact that there are differences of opinion and even criticism between the capitalist bodies according to hierarchy and status does not in any way mean that they have a disagreement about protecting and perpetuating the status of Israel – the colonialist satanic plant in the region on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel)...
Therefore, to the extent that the national, popular, political, and diplomatic struggle develops, we will achieve two goals simultaneously: 1. To enable building foundations for a political, possible, and accepted agreement; 2. The splitting and fragmenting of the Zionist project, because it will not be able to continue to exist without the Anglo-Saxon financial and security aid, and particularly because it is a project that rejects life.”

Fatah movement opposes Taylor Force Act, Fatah official: “The White House [is] competing with the Israeli Parliament and the Israeli Cabinet in displaying hatred and racism”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 25, 2018
"The Fatah Movement said in a statement that it 'is not at all surprised by the American Congress’ latest decision, which connects the American aid with stopping the financial aid to the families of the prisoners and Martyrs (Shahids) (refers to the Taylor Force Act, which was passed into law on March 23, 2018; see note below –Ed.).' The movement emphasized that our brave prisoners and heroic Martyrs fought for freedom and independence, and that the rights of their families are not up for bargaining or negotiation… Fatah Revolutionary Council member [and Fatah Spokesperson] Osama Al-Qawasmi said that Congress and the White House are competing with the Israeli Parliament and the Israeli Cabinet in displaying hatred and racism against the fighting and resolute Palestinian people."

Oped by PLO official: US Ambassador Friedman is “the most loyal propagandist of the occupation, the settlers, and the criminals” for demanding PA condemn terror attacks
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Mar. 21, 2018
Excerpt of op-ed by Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake

Headline: "The American ambassador in Tel Aviv condemns!"

"American Ambassador in Tel Aviv David Friedman condemned the fact that the PA did not condemn the operations (i.e., terror attacks) against the settlers. He made this condemnation while wearing a settler hat and carrying a gun and hoe, after registering as a member of the price tag and hilltop youth settler organizations, which kidnapped and burned Martyr (Shahid) Muhammad Abu Khdeir and the Dawabsheh family (sic., the attacks referred to were not committed by any organizations; see notes below –Ed.).
The American ambassador is the most loyal propagandist of the occupation, the settlers, and the criminals. He does not think about the Palestinians killed as [in his eyes] our dead are not living creatures. Only the Israelis are good and they have priority among the creations. We are the lowly Arabs . The Israelis' blood is different and their souls are different, and therefore they must be given everything. The land, the promise, and the skies belong to them. They are allowed to kill, commit crimes, occupy another people, and remain alive.
Mr. Ambassador… the aggressor, foreigner, and murderer does not become the victim who is in need of your condemnation and tears…

Abbas' advisor: We don't want religious conflict, but Israel does, attacks holy sites, great ugliness characterizes them
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 9, 2018
Official PA TV, excerpt of sermon by Mahmoud Al-Habbash at the mosque in the PA headquarters in Ramallah

Supreme Shari’ah Judge, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Brother believers, in the framework of the conflict with the occupation we have always said, and the Palestinian leadership has repeated: We do not want to ignite a religious battle or religious conflict. We do not want to make the conflict religious. Because, simply put, we do not hate the religions, we do not hate people because of their faith, and our motto is ‘there is no coercion in religion’…
However, while we act in this way, every day several fools come out against us who fan the flames of religious struggle, and they want to make the conflict religious – starting with attacking the holy sites, targeting the holy sites, and targeting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the mosques and churches in Palestine… if a Muslim went out and belittled the Torah, for example – Heaven forbid, we do not do something like this, and it is not fitting for us to do something like this. But if it happened, Heaven forbid, what would their responses be? [...] They would accuse us of ‘Antisemitism,’ as if they are Semites and we are from Mars. These people - our response to them is not curses, we will not curse them – they have enough ugliness that we do not need to curse them, as the curses would be less than the ugliness that characterizes them.”

“Israel has decided to execute everything Palestinian,” says PA official
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 8, 2018
Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, special episode for International Women’s Day, hosting District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam

Official PA TV host: “... What do Palestinian women need in order to be able to carry out their role in the best way possible? Certainly there are several obstacles, certainly women are struggling...”
District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam: “…We are not using it as an excuse, but we always say that the occupation is the first obstacle for all of us, for the entire society… Each day we don’t know who this extremist government has decided to execute that day. A decision has been made to execute everything that is Palestinian. You walk in the street and it may be that the execution decision was already made that day.”
Fatah official attacks US over Jerusalem decision, demonizes Israel, and accuses Israel of “defilement of the sanctified places in Jerusalem,” and calls riots and terror attacks as “epics of courage”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 6, 2018
Fatah Central Committee Secretary and Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs Jibril Rajoub: “What American President [Donald Trump] did when he omitted Jerusalem with a single stroke from the final resolution issues provides a recipe for continuation of the war and adds fuel to the fire, and this is inappropriate conduct... The US, led by Trump, is working to cover up for the organized state terror that is being led by a government that includes extremist fanatics, while the actions of murdering and arresting children, destroying homes, and expropriating lands constitute the height of terror, which requires international intervention to restrain its wild behavior... The official, settlement, rabbinic, and Jewish extremism is what feeds the phenomena of extremism in the region, through that which the settlers are committing with the support of the occupation government: arson, murder, expropriation, imprisonment, humiliation, and defilement of the sanctified places in Jerusalem – and especially the incessant invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is thanks to American support and partnership…
The people of Jerusalem – who in July 2017 recorded epics of courage with their bared chests by defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem (refers to riots and terror attacks; see note below –Ed.) – raise their eyes to the young Muslims through you (i.e., participants at the conference) with much hope, faith, and resolution.”

PA Education Ministry: Israel is “distorting” the PA curriculum, as part of “racist plans” to “occupy the collective consciousness and harm the Palestinian historical narrative”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 28, 2018
“The [PA] Ministry of Education and Higher Education condemned the occupation municipality in Jerusalem for distorting the Palestinian [PA] curriculum, and said that this act is a despicable crime of forgery.
It emphasized that the religious ruling issued by the Palestinian Dar Al-Ifta (lit. house of religious rulings, the office of the PA Mufti of Jerusalem –Ed.) on Sept. 20, 2017, which bans teaching the Israeli curriculum in the Palestinian schools in Jerusalem, is valid to this day. On the same matter, the ministry emphasized that it will thwart any attempt and policy whose goal is to distort the curricula… and will thwart all of the racist plans whose goal is to occupy the collective consciousness and harm the Palestinian historical narrative… [PA Minister of Education and Fatah Central Committee Deputy Secretary Dr. Sabri] Saidam noted that the distortion of the national curricula in Jerusalem by removing several lessons and pictures and manipulating the contents again reveals the occupation authorities’ intentions, and their attempts to deprive the young generations of their national history and culture.”

Trump is leading a war against the Arab and Islamic nation; US and Israel are the only enemies, Trump is "fascist, Nazi, and a lunatic,” says Fatah official
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Feb. 25, 2018

Official PA TV program
Topic of the Day, on US President Donald Trump being an “enemy” of the Palestinians, hosting Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen:
“It was incumbent on [US President] Trump - if he wasn’t a fascist and Nazi in his thinking - to respond to brother [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ speech and initiative at the [UN] Security Council by taking back or at least giving a positive interpretation to what he said and the ideas that he proposed… A large state like the US, which is supposed to act in order to implement international decisions and world peace, is today the one harming world peace due to this blind bias in favor of the occupation… The The US only pursues its interests, which are to destroy the Arab region so that Israel – which was planted in the region by colonialism – will rule the region and the Islamic nation will be destroyed... Therefore I say: The only enemy – and it is clear why I say the only enemy – the only enemy and only danger to the region, to peace in the region and in the world, is Israel and the US.”

Op-ed in PA daily: Israel is a “settlement colonialist Zionist entity… which came to the world through illegal relations… between colonialist powers”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 25, 2018
Excerpt of an op-ed by Muwaffaq Matar, Fatah Revolutionary Council member and regular columnist for the official PA daily

“Trump responded – quicker than what the world diplomats expected – to [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ plan for peace and an end of the conflict when he decided to go too far with a shamelessness that has not characterized the US policy since the birth of the settlement colonialist Zionist entity ‘Israel,’ and the announcement on the adoption of this infant, which came to the world through illegal relations that can be called relations of political adultery between colonialist powers – led by Great Britain – and Zionism…
Trump’s decision to transfer the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – in honor of the opening of the strongest colonialist base in the Middle East, which is called ‘the State of Israel,’ 70 years ago – for the 70th anniversary of the crime that the then colonialist states committed against the Palestinian people (i.e., the embassy will be opened on the 70th anniversary of Israel’s declaration of independence according to the Gregorian calendar)… firmly proves that the lord of the White House has decided to bring the weapons, abilities, and resources of the US into the war front against us, and to treat us – the Palestinian people – as enemies, even though we consider peace as a strategic decision.”

Abbas speech to UN Security Council demonizes Israel, slams US, but proposes international peace plan
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, Feb. 20, 2018
This transcript of PA Chairman Abbas' speech before the UN Security Council on Feb. 20, 2018 was published by Wafa, the official Palestinian Authority news agency, on Feb. 20, 2018.

"Seventy years have passed since Palestine’s Nakba, from which 6 million Palestine refugees continue to suffer from the cruelty of exile and loss of human security. They continue to wander the world after the loss of their peaceful and stable lives in their homeland. They are part of the 13 million Palestinians, whose country has not yet been recognized as full Member State of the United Nations, despite the numerous resolutions reaffirming their right to self-determination and statehood on their national land.
We are the descendants of the Canaanites that lived in the land of Palestine 5,000 years ago and continuously remained there to this day. Our great people remain rooted in their land. The Palestinian people built their own cities and homeland and made contributions to humanity and civilization witnessed by the world. They established institutions, schools, hospitals, cultural organizations, theaters, libraries, newspapers, publishing houses, economic organizations, businesses and banks, with wide regional and international influence.
All of this existed before and after the Balfour Declaration issued by the British Government in 1917, a declaration by which those who did not own, giving to those who had no right. The British Government bears responsibility for the catastrophic consequences inflicted on the Palestinian people as a result..."

PA Education Minister: Israel is carrying out “brutal incitement campaign” against the PA curriculum; puts pressure [led by PMW] on donors regarding changing names of schools named after terrorists
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 20, 2018
Headline: "The [PA] Ministry of Education and the Accountability for Violence Against Children Association completed [the project] For a Secure Palestinian Childhood"

PA, PLO officials: Proposed Israeli legislation cutting amount PA pays to terrorists from Israeli tax money transfers to the PA is “robbery;” Israel supports terror
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 19, 2018
“The [PA] national unity government said that the approval, as it were, that was given by the Israeli Ministerial [Committee for Legislation] to a bill on deducting the allowances (mukhassasat) of the Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners from the Palestinian tax money and transferring them to settlers constitutes robbery and a scandalous theft of money (see note–Ed.)…
Official [PA] Police Spokesperson Yusuf Al-Mahmoud said that the occupation is the one that needs to be brought to account, and it is the one that is required to pay compensation to the members of our people and everyone in the region who has been harmed, because it is the main cause of every crisis and all damage, and it is the source of the dangers and tension… Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake said that the bill to deduct the prisoners’ allowances constitutes robbery and organized political terror… Karake said that the bill will not contribute to stability and peace in the region, but rather will increase the tension. He added that our occupied people is protected by the UN resolutions and the Geneva Convention, and is not subject to Israel’s racist and hostile laws. Karake revealed that the occupation government is funding the Jewish terrorist prisoners who murdered Palestinians, and supporting them financially, politically, and legally (sic., Israel provides no such benefits). He added that this is a state that encourages terror and creates terror in the region.”

Bahraini-Palestinian memorandum to UN Sec-Gen: Palestinians were the real victims of the “large holocaust” in 1948, and are going through a holocaust now
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 18, 2018
"Bahraini, Palestinian, and Arab official and national figures submitted a memorandum to UN Secretary-General António Guterres as a sign of solidarity and support for the rights of the Palestinians in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel), and this was for International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinians of 1948 (apparently refers to Solidarity Day for Palestinians in Israel, observed on Jan. 30 since 2016, not an official international day – Ed.)… The signatories to the memorandum expressed their absolute support for the affairs of the Arab-Palestinian public, which has remained in its homeland and on its land and the land of its forefathers since the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) that befell the fighting Palestinian people in 1948… In a petition to Guterres, the memorandum said: ' We wish to present before you some of the acts being carried out by those you described as victims of the Holocaust, so that together with you we will be vigilant about the spread of hatred, and so that the world will know who the real victims of the large holocaust that took place in 1948 are, and who the people is that is undergoing a holocaust now, in the 21st century, before the eyes of the entire world.'"

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Feb. 11, 2018
Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, on Israeli opposition to the PA school curriculum, hosting PA Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Basri Saleh

PA Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Basri Saleh: “We have witnessed attacks since the first day the national curriculum began with us in 2000. These attacks have continued, and they also have always had political goals that strive to harm the Palestinian political rule and the Palestinian people, and to sully the name of the Palestinian education system – as you said – with the claim that the system educates the Palestinian children to hate, and also attempts to sow within them something that could lead them to terror in the future, and that it also attempts to erase from the map that which is called ‘Israel,’ or what they think needs to be clear in the minds of the Palestinians, and likewise other topics that have been really prominent in all the reports that the Israelis have presented to the world, and through which they have attempted to spread this biased propaganda against the Palestinian education system in general, and against the conduct of the teachers… They are attempting as much as possible to present a fake picture, while completely ignoring how they are poisoning their own children.”

Official PA TV program Who is the Judge? on Israel's actions against Palestinian minors

Official PA TV host Walaa Al-Battat: "The occupation government (PA euphemism for Israel), which claims it is democratic and has won the support of some of the world's super powers, has built itself on the bodies of children, and it still murders, imprisons, and tortures them
with the most extreme types of torture..."
Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Karake: "[Israel] is still going further and further with arrests of the [Palestinian] children - not just arrests, but also execution and murder. Children have been summarily executed. These are considered war crimes that the Israeli occupation government is committing. These children did not constitute any danger to the lives of the soldiers. Despite this, they were executed and live bullets were fired at them. This has occurred based on official decisions made by the Israeli government, which has decided that live bullets should be fired at what it calls 'the rock throwers,' and also decided to arrest the children and throw them into the prisons and impose heavy sentences against them (i.e., for throwing rocks at cars)."

“Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake emphasized in a statement that: ‘We will not submit to the Israeli financial extortion and the pressures that it is exerting against our people through racist and unfair laws, the most recent of which was a bill to confiscate the Palestinian tax money due to the support for the families of the Martyrs (Shahids), prisoners, and wounded (a bill to deduct PA salaries to terrorists from tax money collected by Israel for the PA; see note below –Ed.). We will continue to support and aid the families of the Martyrs, wounded, and prisoners, the victims of the Israeli occupation and its ongoing crimes.’
He said that regardless of the amount of the PA’s financial resources, we will not abandon our prisoners, our Martyrs, and our wounded, and the Israeli laws do not obligate us and do not affect the continued social and financial aid to the families of the prisoners, Martyrs, and wounded.

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Feb. 5, 2018
Official PA TV program Pulse of the Fields, hosting Fatah Central Committee Secretary and Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs Jibril Rajoub

Fatah Central Committee Secretary and Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs Jibril Rajoub: “We think that Jerusalem is a holy city for all of the religions, because all of the monotheistic religions were given in Jerusalem. But we have not agreed, and will not agree, and will not allow there to be sovereignty for the Israeli occupation there or sovereignty for the Jewish religion, which we recognize, because there is no such thing as the capital city of the Jews (previously Rajoub said there would be Jewish sovereignty at the Western Wall; see note below –Ed.). There is no religion that has a capital city, other than in the logic of [US President Donald] Trump (sic., one such example is the Vatican; comment refers to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital)…
There will only be security, peace, and stability after the return of Jerusalem to its owners, and when Jerusalem will be open to all of the monotheistic religions for ritual purposes, and not as part of the Zionist colonialist project, which is exploiting religion in order to justify its massacres and the terror that it is committing against the Palestinian people.”
