Governor of Ramallah visits family of bomber, lays flowers on graves of terrorists who murdered hotel guests

Headline: “[District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh] Dr. [Laila] Ghannam and the security authority began the [Eid Al-Fitr] holiday by laying wreaths of flowers on Martyrs’ (Shahids’) graves”
     “District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam, and with her the security authority of the district and mayors, visited the monument of the Martyrs’ (Shahids) of the Palestinian revolution in El-Bireh, the Al-Amari refugee camp, and in Beitunia, and read the [Quranic] Al-Fatiha Sura for the Martyrs' souls …
The district governor laid flowers on the grave of the Martyrs of the Jordanian army, the grave of the Martyrs of Palestine in the El-Bireh cemetery, and [the grave of] the Martyrs of the Savoy operation (i.e., terror attack) in the Ramallah cemetery…
Likewise, the district governor visited the family of prisoner Muhammad Fawzi Falana from the town of Safa, who was sentenced to a life sentence, and emphasized that our prisoners are a symbol of the struggle, issuing a challenge [to the occupation], and will power, and we cannot imagine any future solution without the release of them all. She demanded that the entire world act seriously to end the suffering of our living Martyrs (i.e., prisoners) in the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) fortresses of oppression, and emphasized that our holidays and celebrations will remain incomplete as long as there are male and female prisoners in the prisons.”

Savoy terror attack –  In March 1975, eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were killed by the terrorists during the attack.

Muhammad Falana
– serving a life sentence for planting a bomb with an accomplice near the town of Dolev in the West Bank in 1992. One person was killed and 6 were injured in the bombing.
