“The Palestinian National Liberation Movement Fatah said in a statement for the 12th anniversary of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of the president, the leader, the symbol Yasser Arafat: ‘We are going to the Seventh [Fatah] Conference in order to revive our movement, [which is] the backbone of the PLO and the leader of the national enterprise…
Fatah added in its announcement: ‘We adhere to our people’s right to legitimate resistance, and continue mobilizing and organizing our national ranks, in order to fight the plan to Judaize Jerusalem and its holy sites. [We continue] in resistance in order to fight the crimes of the occupation army, the settlers, and the summary executions… alongside our campaign in the arena of international law.’”
