Abbas condemns assasination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey and states his rejection of all forms of terror

"[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday [Dec. 22, 2016] received Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Oleg Ozerov at his (i.e., Abbas') residence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The president again emphasized his condemnation of the assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov (i.e., he was shot and killed on Dec. 19, 2016, by an off-duty Turkish policeman shouting "Do not forget Aleppo" and "Allahu Akbar"), and decried this barbaric act that all of the religions and religious laws renounce, and which contradicts all the international and humanitarian values and laws.
Likewise, the president again emphasized his absolute rejection of violence and terror in all their forms, and that the efforts against them must be consolidated and the steps necessary to uproot them must be taken."
