Abbas advisor on Twitter: Israel is “igniting the fuse of religious war” at the Al-Aqsa Mosque

PA Supreme Shari’ah Judge Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “The occupation forces are preventing Muslims from secluding themselves in the Al-Aqsa Mosque [according to the Ramadan custom], and are removing them from it by force. This is a war crime and igniting the fuse of religious war. The Islamic Summit that will convene in a number of days in Mecca must take practical steps in order to help the Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it, and not make do with announcing theories that are no longer beneficial in any way.”

Mahmoud Al-Habbash also holds the following positions: PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice.
