Head of PLO Prisoners’ Commission visits families of terrorist murderers

Posted text: "Abu Bakr visited a number of prisoners' families in the Ramallah and El-Bireh district for Eid Al-Adha (i.e., the Sacrifice Feast)

Aug. 8, 2019

Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners' Affairs Qadri Abu Bakr said yesterday evening, Thursday [Aug. 7, 2019], that history and the people will not forgive the international community and all of the human rights organizations for abandoning the rights of the prisoners sitting in the occupation's violent prisons, and for ignoring the arbitrary steps being taken against them around the clock…

Abu Bakr's words were said during a visit that he made together with the director of his office Nu'man Al-Rafati and a delegation from the Commission [of Prisoners’ Affairs], to prisoners' families in the Ramallah and El-Bireh district for Eid Al-Adha.

He added during his visit that Eid Al-Adha is taking place while thousands of prisoners are being prevented from seeing their loved ones, from holding the holiday prayers, from offering sacrifices, and from visiting their relatives; and among them are also some who have already forgotten how the holiday looks and its meaning since they have not celebrated it for almost 40 years, such as prisoners Karim Younes, Maher Younes (i.e., terrorists and cousins who together murdered 1), Muhammad Al-Tous (i.e., terrorist involved in murder of 3), Nael Barghouti (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1), and dozens of others like them.

Abu Bakr and the delegation that accompanied him visited 'the oak tree of Palestine’ Um Nasser Abu Hmeid (i.e., mother of terrorists responsible for at least 10 murders; see note below), the mother of five prisoners sentenced to life and a sixth in administrative detention. They also visited… the family of prisoner Muhammad Abu Satha (i.e., terrorist, murdered 9) from the Um Al-Sharayet area… and the family of prisoner Issam Al-Faroukh (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1) and Issa Al-Jabarin (see note below –Ed.) from Lower Ramallah.”
