Fatah: Palestinians will resist “in all forms” any “racist” Israeli sovereignty over West Bank

Headline: "Fatah: Netanyahu's statements are racist aggression against our people"

"The Fatah Movement said that [Israeli] Prime Minister of the occupation state [Benjamin] Netanyahu's statements regarding his intention to declare Israeli sovereignty over the settlements in the West Bank (see note below –Ed.) constitute aggression towards the Palestinian people and a blatant violation of international law and the decisions of the international institutions, but the Palestinian people will resist this in all forms ‎(i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror)‎…

Fatah emphasized that masses of our people will come out against the extremist and racist government’s aggression. It added that Netanyahu's expansion plans will not change the truth one iota, as the Palestinian land is occupied land and any act that the occupation carries out [there] is invalid and illegal."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "There will be no more uprooting [of Jewish settlements]. With God’s help we will apply Jewish sovereignty over all communities as part of the land of Israel and the State of Israel,” while visiting Elkana, east of Tel Aviv, on Sept. 1, 2019. Netanyahu also said: “Our mission is to establish the Jewish people in its land and to ensure our sovereignty in our historical homeland,” while visiting Beit El, north of Jerusalem, on Aug. 8, 2019.

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.
