Canada donates 2.4 million dollars to aid 128,000 needy Palestinians

"The Canadian government gave a donation of 3.2 million Canadian dollars, approximately 2.4 million American dollars, to the UN World Food Programme in order to aid 128,000 needy Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The program is meant to use this donation to respond to the food needs of approximately 91,000 people who are not refugees in Gaza and who are suffering from a lack of food security… and in the West Bank 37,000 people from among the Bedouins and shepherds will receive food packages containing enriched flour, beans, vegetable oil, and salt, which will cover their needs for three months."
