Video:
Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari’ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "The most important question is where are the Arabs and the Muslims regarding what is happening [in Jerusalem]. Jerusalem is not only the Palestinians' responsibility."

Egyptian DMC TV Host: "What is required of them, Dr. Mahmoud? What have you requested that was not given to you? What have you requested of the Arabs and not taken [or] on which they have not supported you?”

Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "They must be our people in action, not only in speech. They must be our people while providing diplomatic-political support."

Host: "Yes."

Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "And not while marketing the deal from afar (i.e., US President Donald Trump's as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan) that- the twisted deal that wants to eliminate the Palestinian cause. We want them to be our people in the international arena. We want them to be our people on the ground by directing all of the efforts and systems of support towards the Palestinian resolve. 'The people of Jerusalem' in Jerusalem do not live off of air. They need support; they need a buttress; they need factors of resolve so they will succeed in standing firm against the Israeli attack. On the legal level, the international courts need a push; they need a buttress; they need capabilities. It could be that these capabilities are not found among us Palestinians as needed because we are suffering from many crises on the financial level. Where is the Arab and Islamic money? Where are the governments? Where are the people's regimes? The small minimal thing that is required is Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic) in Jerusalem. There are 300,000 Palestinians who are carrying out Ribat in Jerusalem, and there are 6 million Palestinians who are carrying out Ribat within Palestine. Where are the Arabs and the Muslims? Where are our Arab and Muslim brothers in participating with us in Ribat, even by [providing] equipment or coming to Jerusalem?"

Host: "Yes, Dr. Mahmoud."

Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "This is a strong message to the world that Jerusalem is ours."
