The cartoon shows Saleh Hamad, a Palestinian who attempted to emigrate from the Gaza Strip and drowned in the Mediterranean Sea. Hamad is wearing a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) around his neck and holding up a fist with a Palestinian flag wristband on his wrist, and his sleeve is in the shape of the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel and the PA areas as “Palestine.” Below his elbow is the word “Palestine” in English with the PA map of “Palestine” in the “P” of the word “Palestine.”
