Logo for “Palestinian Women’s Day” includes map of “Palestine” that erases Israel

Alongside the following article is a logo for National Palestinian Women's Day, which consists of the PA map of "Palestine" that presents all of Israel as "Palestine" together with the PA areas, with a circle next to it so that the map and circle together form the number "10" – for the month of October. On the map is written: "National Women's Day." Within the circle is the image of a woman whose hair forms the number “26,” and part of whose hair is in the colors of the Palestinian flag. Under the logo is written: "National Palestinian Women's Day."

Hamad noted that the establishment of this day is tantamount to a celebration that commemorates the struggles of the Palestinian women, and that it was established after the [PA] Ministry of Women's Affairs submitted a request in the past to the [PA] prime minister's office. She added that the request was approved in the 13th meeting of the [PA] government led by [PA] Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, which was convened on July 17, 2019, and that [it was established] that the 26th of October each year would be National Palestinian Women's Day."
