“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine [and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice] Mahmoud Al-Habbash briefed Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid and the state’s Minister of Islamic Affairs Ahmed Zahir on the situation in Palestine and the Israeli targeting of Jerusalem meant to Judaize it and change its Arab and Islamic nature. Al-Habbash called to spread the culture of visiting Jerusalem among Muslims from all states of the world as a tool against the Israeli plot, whose goal is to empty Jerusalem of its residents and isolate it from its Islamic depth.”
