Participants in Palestinian Women’s Day workshop choose terrorist Dalal Mughrabi as “exemplary” Palestinian woman

The female participants chose a number of exemplary Palestinian women in order to honor them and recognize their tremendous efforts. Chairman of the General Association of Women in Tubas Laila Sa'id said that all the women of Palestine inspire and fight, and especially the mothers of the Martyrs and fighters…

The [workshop] participants proposed as symbols and pioneers Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children), Fatah Central Committee member [and Fatah Commissioner of NGOs] Dalal Salameh, late fighter [and former PA Minister of Women's Affairs] Rabiha Dhiab, [Jordanian] Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, prisoner Israa Ja'abis (i.e., terrorist, carried out car bombing attack) who was sentenced to 11 years and suffers from severe burns, first female Martyr in Tubas who died at the beginning of the Stone Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, approximately 200 Israelis murdered, 1987-1993) Rashiqa Daragmeh (PMW was unable to determine what occurred –Ed.), and Chairman of the [Palestinian] Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) Alaa Awad."

 

Dalal Mughrabi – female Palestinian terrorist who led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.

 

Israa Ja’abis – 31-year-old female Palestinian terrorist, resident of East Jerusalem, who carried out a car bomb attack near Ma’ale Adumim, a few kilometers east of Jerusalem, on Oct. 11, 2015. A policeman who noticed a suspicious vehicle signaled for the driver to stop, after which she drove closer to a group of police officers and detonated a gas balloon. One policeman suffered light injuries and Ja’abis was seriously injured. Ja'abis was serving a sentence of 11 years before being released after 8 years in prison as part of a prisoner exchange deal on Nov. 24, 2023, between Israel and Hamas in which Israel agreed to release 150 terrorist prisoners in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages during the Israeli counter-terror operation against Hamas’ terror war on Israel.
