Al-Ahrar Movement leader Muawiyah Al-Sufi: "We convey warm condolences to our Palestinian people that is carrying out Jihad, our Arab and Islamic nations, and our comrades in the Islamic Jihad Movement and Jerusalem platoons over the death as a Martyr of great national commander Baha Abu Al-Ata ‘Abu Salim’ (i.e., terror leader responsible for many attacks). Therefore, we say that this criminal, [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, will not succeed in fleeing his internal crisis by assassinating our Palestinian people and assassinating the Palestinian resistance leadership. The Palestinian resistance has a right to an earth-shattering response to this crime that was committed against great national commander Baha Abu Al-Ata."
