PA daily cartoon: Trump and Netanyahu feast on international law

Cartoon published in the official PA daily

The cartoon shows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump seated on either side of a scale. Both of them have napkins on their laps and silverware in their hands as they eat from the scale pans. Above the scale is written “international law.” The cartoon follows US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's statement on Nov. 18, 2019, in which he said that the US administration’s position is that “the establishment of Israeli civilian settlements in the West Bank is not, per se, inconsistent with international law.”
