Op-ed: Trump uses “Torah term” of choseness

Headline: "Trump's delusions and the wars!"

"[US] President Donald Trump… claimed at a press conference he held on the White House lawn last Wednesday [Aug. 21, 2019] that God has 'chosen him' to lead America's wars against its enemies, and particularly against China. He used the Torah term (i.e., biblical term) in order to add a religious aspect to his 'special' personal status when he emphasized: 'I am the chosen one' to lead the trade wars against China and against the world's states, and of course afterwards the military [wars]. He mentioned the Zionist movement's saying [that it uses] to market its colonialist project on the Arab land of Palestine; it claims that 'The Jews are God's chosen people' to whom was promised a return to 'the promised land,' in other words to the Arab country of Palestine."
