PA to Palestinians: Al-Aqsa is more precious than your children - in PA TV filler

A filler between broadcasts on official PA TV reinforces the PA’s message to Palestinians that the Islamic holy places and the struggle for “Palestine” are worth the sacrifice of their children. For decades, the PA has promoted to parents and children alike the ideal of dying as “Martyrs” for the cause. In the new filler, the PA teaches Palestinians that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is “more precious than my children and more precious than my family”:

“Al-Aqsa – the lemon blossom, the olives.
I will redeem you with my soul and my eyes.
Al-Aqsa is more precious than my children and more precious than my family – Al-Aqsa is my life, Al-Aqsa is my life…
The whole world is with Palestine, and wherever you need us, we are with you.
We are with you Palestine”

Palestinian Media Watch has shown that the brainwashing works. Constantly telling Palestinians that the Islamic holy places are in danger, are being defiled by Jews, and destroyed by Israel iswhat make Palestinian teenagers endanger themselvesand carry out terror attacks.

PMW has exposed numerous times that the PA and Fatah endorse child “Martyrs” and even teach that children are to sacrifice themselves for “Palestine.” Recently, a young girl recited a poem on a Palestinian radio program in whicha mother tells her son he is "ammunition,"and destined for Martyrdom. Fatah chose to post her recital to pass on the message to its thousands of followers:

Ru'a Tamimi: “His mother promised him a gift if he finished his food. The boy wondered in excitement: “Is it a toy?” His mother approached him with a glowing look while carrying the gift. He looked, and it was a rifle! He shouted loudly: “O Mommy! Mommy! What is this? Is this the gift?” She picked him up, hugged him, and said: “My son, we were not created for happiness. In my eyes you are meant for Martyrdom!

The following song broadcast by official PA radio encourages sacrifice of children for Palestine:

“I love you Palestine from the bottom of my heart,
I love you, my land.
You are in [my] eyes and soul,
And I will redeem you with my children

[This song, "I Love You, Palestine, From the Bottom of My Heart" by Palestinian singer Ammar Hassan, was broadcast by the official PA radio station The Voice of Palestine on the following dates: Jan. 2, 5, 9, 10, 12, 22, 23, Feb. 12, 20, 22, March 2, 20, April 10, 14, May 1, 14, 17, June 4, 19, Aug. 15, Dec. 14, 28 2019; Jan. 8, 15, 17, 18, 29, Feb. 5, 12, 2020]

PMW has documented other songs teaching that children are destined to become “Martyrs,” already as fetuses in the womb.

Likewise, Fatah frequently posts photos of children holding weapons, as in this photo of two girls carrying assault rifles leading a procession of uniformed men armed with assault rifles:

Fatah also encouraged its followers to share a video of a young Jordanian boy marching with an automatic rifle, vowing to “shoot Jews,” and “die for Jerusalem.”

Fatah’s posted text: “Reshare the video.
A video of a Palestinian (sic., Jordanian) child gets 11 million views, and the YouTube management removed it.”

Mother: “Amir darling, where are you going?”
Amir: “Give my farewell to my father; tell him: “Forgive Amir and pray for Amir.”
Mother: “You’ve scared me, where does this path lead?”
Amir: “To Jerusalem.”
Mother: “It is far, my dear Amir.”
Amir: “No, mother; here it is behind the mountain. You go, go.”
Mother: “Who are you going to?”
Amir: “To Martyr Omar Abu Laila (i.e., terrorist, murdered 2) and his comrades. I will shoot the Jews who shot Omar. I will go to Omar’s mother, I will kiss her head. I will tell her: “I am Omar. We are all Omar. We are your children.”
Mother: “The Jews will shoot you, my dear Amir, and you will die.”
Amir: “What’s new, mother? I will die for Jerusalem. It is Jerusalem – doesn’t it deserve that we die for it? It is the Al-Aqsa Mosque – doesn’t it deserve that we die for it? It is the place of Prophet [Muhammad’s] Night Journey – doesn’t it deserve that we die for it?"
Amir: "This is Jerusalem, O Arabs! For Allah, O Arabs! For Allah, O Arabs! This is Jerusalem, the place of Prophet [Muhammad’s] Night Journey! They have sold Jerusalem! Awaken, O Saladin! They have sold Jerusalem! For Allah!”
