Abbas expresses condolences over death of Islamic Jihad leader

“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas called Islamic Jihad Movement Secretary-General Ziyad Al-Nakhalah yesterday [June 8, 2020] and expressed his condolences over the death of former Islamic Jihad Secretary-General fighter Ramadan Abdallah Shalah. In the phone conversation, the president expressed sincere condolences over the death of fighter Shalah,and emphasized that with his death we have lost a national figure of stature. He prayed to Almighty Allah that He wrap the departed in His great mercy, have him dwell in Paradise, and give his family patience and consolation.”
