France gives millions to the PA

“[PA] Minister of Finance Shukri Bishara signed an 8 million euro aid agreement for the [PA] 2020 general budget with French Consul General René Troccaz yesterday, Tuesday [June 2, 2020], in order to fund the national development plan and support building the state institutions.

Bishara praised the value of the French aid… whose goal is to support many important and essential sectors such as water, energy, the private sector – as part of this the French government will give loans with favorable conditions and grants to support and develop private Palestinian companies – and the education sector…

Troccaz emphasized that the French support for the Palestinian budget and all the sectors is continuing. He emphasized that the French government is prepared to continue its efforts to develop the Palestinian economy.”
