Palestinians are “victims of Israeli organized ‎state crimes” so have a right to use “violence” – ‎PA op-ed

Excerpt of op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, a ‎regular columnist for the official PA daily

‎"Zionist Kushner said that President Mahmoud ‎Abbas bears part of the responsibility for the ‎violence taking place on the Palestinian land… ‎and attacked the leadership because it pays ‎salaries (rawatib) to the families of the Martyrs ‎and the prisoners, and incites to intifadas…‎

It is the right of a people that is the victim of an ‎organized state crime and the colonialism that ‎denies the basic Palestinian rights and principles ‎is what is igniting the anarchy and violence, and ‎the Palestinian people has no right other than to ‎defend itself in order to defend its goals and ‎interests…‎

The Martyrs, prisoners, and their families are also ‎fighters for freedom, independence, and the ‎return [of the refugees], and it is not possible to ‎renounce them, deny their struggle, or ignore ‎their pioneering role in carrying the flag of ‎revolution and obtaining the great national ‎achievements. The terrorists are the leaders of ‎the colonialist state and the reactionary Zionist ‎movement that is based on crime, war, and ‎fabrication."‎
