Hamas official: Buy knives and “cut the throats of the Jews”

Hamas Political Bureau member Fathi Hammad: “In every house in the Gaza Strip there is an AK-47 [assault rifle] in the hands of a jihad fighter, and he is ready – after standing all night praying to Allah that he be chosen as a Martyr. We in the Gaza Strip prefer death to humiliation. We prefer death to submission… Therefore, declare jihad and be firm. We want you, the people of Jerusalem, to cut the throats of the Jews with knives. Let everyone do it from this artery. Buy yourself a knife for five [Israeli] shekels, sharpen it, and cut them right here. For five shekels you will humiliate the [Zionist] entity state. Therefore, from here in the Gaza Strip, we send the best of blessings to Muntasir Shalabi (i.e., terrorist, recently murdered 1)… The Jews have corrupted, the Jews have been proud. Now the time has come to settle accounts with them. Now the time has come to destroy them with your own hands.”

Muntasir Shalabi – Palestinian terrorist who murdered 19-year-old Israeli student Yehuda Gueta and wounded two other 19-year-old students – Benaya Peretz and Amichai Hala – in a drive-by shooting attack at the Tapuach Junction near Ariel (north of Ramallah) on May 2, 2021. Peretz was seriously wounded in the attack. Shalabi is serving 2 life sentences.
