Abbas’ advisor warns Israeli flag march will lead to an “explosion”

Posted text: “Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash warned against an explosion in the situation in Palestine, if the settlers’ threats of holding the so-called ‘Flag March’ and breaking into the Damascus Gate area in occupied Jerusalem are realized (refers to rescheduled Israeli flag march after the traditional Jerusalem Day march was cancelled on May 10, 2021, due to violent Arab riots; see note below -Ed.).

Speaking to the Egyptian channel Al-Nahar, Al-Habbash added that if this happens, we are in danger of returning to the starting point.”
