“Israel has no sovereign rights whatsoever” in East Jerusalem, says PA representative to the UN

Official PA TV newsreader: “Ambassador of Palestine to the UN Riyad Mansour again emphasized that Israel has no sovereign rights whatsoever in occupied East Jerusalem, including the holy sites, and as regards changing the composition of the city’s population, its character, its status, its history, and its identity. Mansour made his statements in a letter that he sent to UN Secretary-General [António Guterres], the head of the [UN] Security Council – whose president on duty for this month [July 2021] is France, and the head of the UN General Assembly.”
