PLO: The birth of the State of Israel in 1948 constitutes the greatest "loss" for Palestine

“Yesterday evening, Tuesday [Dec. 28, 2020], Fatah Movement Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen said that… the Palestinian people has been subjected to an international plot in the past century that led to the loss of the largest part [of Palestine] in 1948, the loss of the remaining part in 1967, and the erasing of the Palestinian identity and culture.

He expressed his hopes that the new American administration will change its approach towards the Palestinian cause and will consider returning the Palestinian cause – whose core is ending the [Israeli] occupation – to the legitimate international institutions [of the UN].”

Jamal Muhaisen also serves as Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank and PLO Central Council member.

Intilaqa - "the Launch" refers to the beginning of Fatah on Jan. 1, 1965, when it carried out its first terror attack against Israel, attempting to blow up Israel's National Water Carrier.
