Italy honors ex-PA education minister, ignoring his inclusion of terror incitement in Palestinian schoolbooks

Headline: “Sabri Saidam was made Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy”

“The Italian Republic made Fatah Movement Central Committee Deputy Secretary and former [PA] Minister of Education Sabri Saidam Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy, in appreciation of his role in the education sector and in strengthening Palestinian-Italian cooperation.

The order was presented on behalf of Italian President [Sergio Mattarella] by Italian Consul General Giuseppe Fedele, who emphasized that his country makes sure to honor figures who contribute to strengthening friendly ties.”

Sabri Saidam also serves as Fatah Revolutionary Council Deputy Secretary and is the former PA Minister of Education and Higher Education.
