PA: Israel is "an ultra-fascist ethnic cleansing state whose crimes surpass German Nazism"

Excerpt of a column by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for official PA daily and former advisor to former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on national affairs

Headline: “A war crime in broad daylight”

“Day after day the Israeli organized terror state proves that it is hostile to peace and fundamentally does not believe in it…

We stand against an ultra-fascist ethnic cleansing state, if I can use the expression, because in its crimes it surpasses German Nazism. This is a state that is led by savage highway robberswho are only connected to humanity in their [external] appearance. They are more similar to cannibalistic prehistoric man…

The gangs of rogue and lawless Israel – the army, the border police, and the Israeli Security Agency – laid an ambush for three young Palestinians (refers to assassination of Fatah terrorists planning an imminent shooting attack; see note below -Ed.). They shot hundreds of live bullets at them in broad daylight, while they were in the car they were driving two days ago, Tuesday, Feb. 8 [2022], in the Al-Makhfiya area of Nablus that is in Area A (i.e., land under PA administration according to the Oslo Accords). The Israeli death army gangs could have arrested them and neutralized them, but the goal of the forces and the checkpoints that were deployed at the site was to premeditatedly murder the young people in cold blood…

The PLO Central Council – whose 31st session concluded on the day the lives of the three peace-loving heroic Martyrs were harvested – took a practical and significant step in implementing all the decisions that were made by the previous sessions, from the 27th session until today… This indicates the Palestinian leadership’s understanding that the fascist State of Israel is not consistent with peace.”

Adham Mabrouka Al-Shishani, Muhammad Al-Dakhil, and Ashraf Mubaslat – Palestinian terrorists and members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) who were shot and killed by Israeli security forces in Nablus on Feb. 8, 2022. When killed the terrorists were armed with two M-16 semi-automatic assault rifles and intelligence indicated that they were planning an imminent terror attack. The terrorists had already committed six shooting attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers in previous weeks, among them: Jan. 25, 2022 - shooting on an Israeli military post near Nablus. Jan. 27, 2022 - shooting on a military post between the Israeli towns of Elon Moreh and Itamar east of Nablus. Jan. 29, 2022 - shooting on an Israeli military vehicle as it drove next to the PA village of Tell southwest of Nablus. Feb. 2, 2022 - shooting on a military post at an entrance to Nablus. PMW was unable to determine the details of the remaining two attacks, which reportedly targeted Israeli towns.
