Hamas conference makes plans for "Palestine after liberation" after “Israel’s collapse”

Recommendations of the “Days of the Final Promise – Palestine After Liberation” conference held by Hamas terror leader Yahya Al-Sinwar published by the independent Palestinian news agency Safa

The recommendations of Hamas’ “Days of the Final Promise – Palestine After Liberation” conference include 20 clauses detailing the needed preparations ahead of the “coming liberation of Palestine.” The recommendations were provided to the independent Palestinian news agency Safa by Issam Adwan, president of the conference’s preparatory committee.

“On Sept. 30, 2021, under the noble auspices of leader Yahya Al-Sinwar ‘Abu Ibrahim,’ leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement ‘Hamas’ in the Gaza Strip, the ‘Days of the Final Promise’ council (“the final promise” refers to a Quranic verse that many Palestinians present as prophesizing Israel’s destruction; see note below -Ed.) held the first of its kind ‘Days of the Final Promise’ strategic vision conference, which determined a vision for the mode of action in the period of Palestine’s liberation in different fields, which were discussed in the conference’s discussions; these join the strategies formulated by the ‘Days of the Final Promise’ council since the beginning of its work in 2014. This vision in its entirety will provide a clearer viewpoint for those responsible for liberating Palestine. Among the conference’s recommendations were:

1) The potential leadership factor for leading the liberation is the establishment of a ‘Palestine Liberation Council’ [that is composed] of all the Palestinian and Arab forces that adopt the idea of liberating Palestine, and is supported by a covenant with friendly states.

15) A distinction must be made regarding the treatment of the Jews who are settling in the land of Palestine – the fighters must be fought, those fleeing can be left alone or legally prosecuted for the crimes [they committed], and as for the surrendering peace-lovers, they can be absorbed or given a grace period to leave, and this is a topic that should be examined carefully and treated with the humaneness that has always characterized Islam.

16) [We must] hold onto the Jewish scientists and experts from the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, and civil and military industry for a certain period and not let them leave with the knowledge, science, and experience that they accumulated while living on our land, eating from the best of our land while we paid the price for all this with our humiliation, our poverty, our sickness, our suffering from the blockade, our being killed, and our being imprisoned.

18) From the first moments of Israel’s collapse, the security forces belonging to the transitional government must put their hands on lists of the occupation’s agents in Palestine, the region, and the world, and on the names of the Jews and non-Jews who are locally and internationally mobilized [for Israel], because they are considered a great trove of information that must not be lost, because with this trove we can purify Palestine and the Arab and Islamic world of the two-faced trash that sowed ruin and destruction on the face of the earth, and it provides important information to pursue the escaping criminals who massacred our people…

And in the end: The time of action has called, and the preparations to liberate Palestine have begun in the spirit of liberation that has spread in this conference, and with the preparations of the fighters whose souls yearn for the liberation of Palestine and its holy sites, and we have an appointed date with victory that Allah promised his servants: ‘[O you who have believed,] if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet’ [Quran 47:7, Sahih International translation], and if they ask you when it will be, tell them it may be soon.”

Yahya Al-Sinwar - Palestinian terrorist and senior member of the Hamas terror organization. Al-Sinwar was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Israeli soldier Nachshon Wachsman in October 1994. Israeli soldier Nir Poraz was murdered during Israel's attempt to rescue Wachsman. Al-Sinwar was sentenced to 4 life sentences, but was released in the exchange deal for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2011.

The final (other) promise - The second half of Sura 17:7 of the Quran - “Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple [in Jerusalem], as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.” [Sahih International translation] - can be understood as either past or future tense due to the ambiguity of the Arabic "idha ja'a" referring to “the promise” that can be understood as “when it came” or “when it comes,” and the Arabic “al-ahera,” also referring to the promise, which can mean “other” or “final.” Many religious scholars understand it as past tense referring back to the destruction of the Second Temple. But some understand it as future tense, prophesizing some future destruction befalling the Jews. Al-Habbash presents it as prophesizing a final war in which Israel will be destroyed.
