Fatah claims that they are "exempt from the ceasefire" with Israel and will attack Israel "at the suitable time"

“For several consecutive days, at varying times, the occupation forces carried out a series of invasions in the border areas, air raids and fired at fishermen from battleships. These are all Israeli violations of the ceasefire and threats to launch a new military operation against Gaza. Is this part of an Israeli attempt to thwart initiatives to establish a national consensus government and to achieve reconciliation [between Fatah and Hamas], or are there other reasons for this?...

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’ (Fatah’s military wing) spokesman Abu Tahrir, said that a meeting of all Fatah military wings took place yesterday [April 28, 2013], to determine the means necessary [for dealing with]… Israeli violations of the ceasefire. It was emphasized that all wings are exempt from the ceasefire and will retaliate against Israeli violations at the suitable time and place. He added that Fatah’s military groups took all Israeli threats seriously.”
