“Today, Sunday [March 6, 2022], the Palestinian factions praised the stabbing operation that was carried out by young Palestinian [Karim Al-Qawasmi] (i.e., terrorist, wounded 1 person) in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, in which he died as a Martyr and two of the occupation’s soldiers were wounded.

Hamas Movement Spokesperson for Jerusalem Muhammad Hamada said that this operation is a natural response to the escalation of the occupation’s crimes against those carrying out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic), against the Jerusalem residents, and against the entire occupied Arab [West] Bank.

Hamada called on the public and the rebelling young people to continue escalating and confronting the occupation with all means (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror) and in all the arenas, in order to deter it and restrain its aggression against our land, our people, and our holy sites.

Islamic Jihad Movement Spokesperson for the West Bank Tareq Izz Al-Din said that this operation is part of the Palestinian people’s natural and legitimate response in the shadow of the occupation’s incessant violations. Izz Al-Din called to escalate the resistance in all the Palestinian territories in order to defend Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque…

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) praised the operation and considered it proof of the willpower, the integrative nature of the struggle, and the continuation of the resistance. It said that it expresses a decisive popular response to the plots that are targeting the national cause and rights.

The PFLP called to take advantage of the strong messages conveyed by the stabbing operation… in order to continue the popular resistance activities with all means.”

Karim Al-Qawasmi – 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and wounded an Israeli police officer in the Old City of Jerusalem on March 6, 2022, at which point other officers shot and killed Al-Qawasmi in self-defense. A second officer was accidentally wounded by the gunfire.

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.
