Headline: “The Arraba Municipality names a road after Omar Al-Qassem”

Out of loyalty to our heroic Martyrs, their memory, their history that is saturated with sacrifices, and so that these suns will remain as a heritage in the hearts of the coming generations, Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) members in the Jenin district submitted a request to the Arraba mayor and the municipality members so that they would agree to name the northern square at the entrance to Arraba after Martyr Omar Al-Qassem (i.e., terrorist, led murder of 2).The municipality unanimously decided to name the square at the northern entrance to the town of Arraba after Al-Qassem. This is out of honor, appreciation, immortalization, and in the memory of Al-Qassem, and so that the Martyrs’ names and the heavy sacrifices they made for the sake of our national cause will remain forever in the hearts of the coming generations.

The municipality began the initial preparations for the square, and it will be completed in the coming days. They also said that the inauguration of the road will be an official inauguration that will be fitting for Martyr Omar Al-Qassem and his sacrifices.”
