“Regardless of the epidemics that Palestine has witnessed throughout history, the most dangerous and severe epidemic is the epidemic of the Zionist project and the occupation that has continued for more than 100 years. General [Edmund] Allenby’s (i.e., British military leader who led the conquest of the land of Israel in World War I) navy ships did not bring with them just the epidemic of the Spanish Flu (1918 Flu Pandemic, at least 50 million died worldwide –Ed.), which took the lives of thousands of Palestinians, but also the epidemic of Zionism, which is continuing to kill us to this very day.”
