Official PA TV newsreader: “He is commander [Mamdouh] Saidam ‘Abu Sabri,’ who took an active part in establishing the attempt of armed struggle and worked hard with his brothers, the members of the leading group, to build the foundational rules of the armed [struggle],which restored to our people its national identity and lit up – in the nation’s soul – the torch of uprising, resolve, and feelings of national honor.”
