PA TV quiz show highlights mass murderer terrorist Abu Jihad

Official PA TV program Ramadan and the People, a quiz program for the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan

 

Official PA TV host 1: “Khalil, our question for you today is: Give me an answer about a figure whose Martyrdom-death anniversary is marked today [April 16, 2021]. I want to see if you know without any information about [this person]… an influential Palestinian figure.”

Gazan resident Khalil: “I say that it may be Khalil Al-Wazir [‘Abu Jihad’] (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 125)?”

Official PA TV host 2: “Correct answer.”

Hosts 1 and 2: “Great job!”

Host 1: “I had no doubt about the national knowledge of our people…

If you would like to give us a bit of information, then sure, [go ahead].”

Khalil: “Of course Khalil Al-Wazir’s name is like my name, Khalil, and I want- He was one of the people who gave for the sake of the revolution.”

Host 1: “Right.”

Khalil: “He was of course assassinated in Tunis by the Israeli Mossad (Israeli Secret Intelligence Service).”

Host 1: “Right.”

Khalil: “And of course he was assassinated in the period of the first Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, approximately 200 Israelis murdered, 1987-1993), in 1988 I think.”

Host 2: “Do you know what Khalil Al-Wazir was called? What was his nickname?”

Khalil: “Abu Jihad, of course.”

Host 2: “Abu Jihad, but he had a nickname the Prince of Martyrs.’”

Khalil: The Engineer of the Revolution. Ah, also the Engineer of the Revolution.”

Host 1: “The Engineer of the Revolution, right, he had more than one nickname…

Congratulations, your prize is $100, which is being given-”

Host 2: “By the Bank of Palestine. The first national bank, Khalil.”

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) - was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks in the 1960’s - 1980’s. These attacks, in which a total of 125 Israelis were murdered, included the Coastal Road attack that (until Oct. 7, 2023) was the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and murder of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
