The PA funds terror glorification

Official PA TV program Topic of the Day

Chairman of PA-funded Prisoners’ Club Qadura Fares: “There is a decision by the prisoners’ movement, which was expressed by an announcement we read and disseminated to all the people of Palestine, regarding Red Tuesday. This is an activity on Tuesday [March 14, 2023], at 7:30 a.m., in order to commemorate anew the memory of the three heroes who were executed in Acre Prison and the Palestinian people gave it the name Red Tuesday, as they were executed on Tuesday (refers to terrorist murderers Ataa Al-Zir, Fuad Hijazi, and Muhammad Jamjoum from the 1929 Arab Riots). In light of the Israeli Parliament’s approval of the execution law in a preliminary reading approximately 10 days ago (refers to Israeli bill to implement the death penalty for terrorists -Ed.), it is as if the occupation is attempting to turn the wheels of history backwards and to bring us fascist and racist procedures and laws from the distant and wretched past.

Muhammad Jamjoum, Fuad Hijazi, and Ataa Al-Zir “committed particularly brutal murders [of Jews] at Safed and Hebron,” according to the report by British Government to the League of Nations. They were convicted of attacking British soldiers and murdering Jews in the 1929 Hebron Massacre, in which 65 Jews were murdered. They were executed by the British in 1930.
