“Jews are arrogant by nature” – Palestinian Antisemitism continues to thrive

Palestinian researcher on official PA TV:

• “Jews are arrogant by nature, don't accept the other”

• The Protocols of the Elders of Zion teach Jews they are “masters” over mankind

Palestinian journalist on official PA TV:

• The Zionists cooperated with Hitler to advance their state

• The Holocaust was “truly fabricated”

At least 3 times this year, official PA TV has chosen to broadcast an interview with a “researcher” to spread the PA’s antisemitic ideology about the “racism” of Jews:

• “The Jews are arrogant by nature”
• “They don’t accept the other”
• “They always stick to themselves”
• “Their [Jewish] thinking is based on racism”
• "The Zionist thinking is based on them being ‘God’s chosen people"
• Jews live according to ”outlook” that they will be “masters” over man

According to PA ideology and fundamental world view, it was because Europe suffered so much from the Jews that they decided to get rid of them and established the state of Israel. As the researcher explained:

• “The Europeans hated them and wanted to get rid of them… so the idea started of establishing a Jewish state for the Jews.” 

During an edited interview, PA TV broadcast this hate speech of Muhammad Al-Yahya, who stressed that these views are part of Judaism. As proof he cited the antisemitic forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as if it were a true document by which Jews live and are guided to be “masters” over all mankind: 

Palestinian researcher Muhammad Al-Yahya: “The Jews are arrogant by nature. They don’t accept the other. They always stick to themselves. The Europeans hated them and wanted to get rid of them, and therefore one of the interests of the European states… was to get rid of the Jews, so the idea started of establishing a Jewish state for the Jews… Their [Jewish] thinking is based on racism that caused them to be hated everywhere. The Zionist thinking is based on them being ‘God’s chosen people.’ In the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (i.e., an antisemitic forgery), in what was leaked of [it], there is a parenthetical sentence that they are fulfilling that has caused them to be hated by all peoples: ‘God created the land, and afterwards He created man to prepare the land for them [the Jews], and afterwards He created them so that they would be masters over them.’ The pure Jew has the outlook that he is of the people chosen by God."

According to the working definition of Antisemitism coined by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), and accepted by many countries, these statements are classic Antisemitism.

The IHRA working definition of Antisemitism states that:

“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”

The hate-speech by the Palestinian researcher fit the following example provided by the IHRA as an illustration of Antisemitism:

“Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy…”

Another recent statement on official PA TV by a Palestinian journalist, fits other examples of Antisemitism listed by the IHRA. Muhammad Al-Burini repeated the libel hat the Zionist movement cooperated with Hitler during WWII to advance the creation of Israel, and that the Holocaust was “truly fabricated”: 

Palestinian journalist from Jordan Muhammad Al-Burini: “I want to note a very important point regarding the fabricated Holocaust, truly fabricated. I visited the site [of the death camps] and I saw a documentary film, showing thatHitler and the Zionist movement cooperatedto spread claims, and while people were indeed killed and burned there, this was meant to justify the Zionist movement’slong-range goal: To establish their state in Palestine [and] to get-”

Saying that the Zionist movement worked with Hitler and thereby took part in carrying out the Holocaust is like the following examples from the ÏHRA: 

“Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).”
 

“Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.”

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed numerous expressions of PA Antisemitism, among them the claim that Jews control American institutions, that Jews were trained by the Nazis in the concentration camps to kill “without feeling anything,” that the “Zionists exaggerated the number of Holocaust victims,” and that Israel is “reenacting the Nazi Holocaust.”

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion - an antisemitic forgery describing in precise detail a fictitious Jewish plan to subjugate humanity under Jewish rule. It was published in Russia in 1903, translated into multiple languages. In 1921, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was exposed as a false document.
