Cartoon celebrates Israeli “defeat” in Jenin

The cartoon shows two uniformed Israeli soldiers carrying a stretcher with the word “Defeat” on it in place of a wounded person. The cartoon refers to Palestinian terrorists ambushing Israeli forces engaged in a counter-terror operation in Jenin on June 19, 2023, in which 7 Israeli soldiers and border police officers were wounded by an explosive. Five Palestinian terrorists were killed and dozens of others were wounded in the gun battle.
