Whoever has a rifle, “shoot a Jew, or give it to Hamas!” - Palestinian students in Ramallah support Hamas

• “The entire West Bank is Hamas!”

Four weeks into Hamas’ terror war against Israel and Israel’s counter-terror response, female students in Ramallah in the West Bank were eager to show their support for Hamas and for Hamas’ massacre of Jews on Oct. 7.

Waving Palestinian flags and a green Hamas flag, the students enthusiastically called to “shoot a Jew,” while declaring that “the entire West Bank is Hamas!” They also voiced criticism of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, asking rhetorically “Abbas, where are you?” and then continued mocking him by saying that “Abu Ubeida,” the spokesman for the  Hamas’ military wing, “is poking you in the eye”:

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed that Palestinian students are taught to yell “Blow up the Zionist’s head… Strike Tel Aviv… Strike Ashkelon” and “our path is Jihad!” On the day of Hamas’ massacre, children and youth participated in processions in the West Bank in celebration of the massive attack. PMW also documented that Fatah’s Student Movement Shabiba support Hamas’ attack and have celebrated the massacre, and called for more terror in the West Bank.

A recent post from Fatah’s Student Movement at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie stressed the support for the war against Israel with the words:

“From out of your rifle barrels illuminate the flags of inevitable freedom, and from your pure blood the lamps of our path to the homeland were lit. Glory to you [Martyrs] in eternal life, and for us remains walking in your path and fulfilling your instructions… we salute all forms of resistance (i.e., Palestinian term that also refers to the use of violence and terror) against this occupier, with all its forms.”

A photo posted by the movement 2 weeks into Hamas’ war against Israel shows in all clarity the hostile intentions of Fatah students towards Israel:

The image shows masked Fatah terrorists wearing yellow Fatah headbands kneeling in prayer with assault rifles laid on the ground in front of them. In the upper right corner is the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades logo that includes crossed rifles and a grenade above the Dome of the Rock, with Palestinian flags below it. Hamas war on Israel October 2023 - At least 1,200 Israelis, including over 1,000 civilians, were murdered and over 4,800 wounded, in addition to approximately 244 who were abducted into the Gaza Strip (including 110 later released or liberated and at least 26 later killed), in a Hamas terror war that began when approximately 3,000 Hamas terrorists broke through Israel's security fence at the Gaza Strip border and launched a surprise attack, taking control of several Israeli towns and attacking a music festival on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, which fell on the Sabbath, Oct. 7, 2023. During the massacre the terrorists tortured, raped, shot, beheaded, and burned their victims alive, murdering entire families and leaving at least 21 children without parents. Hamas terrorists also fired at least 5,000 rockets at Israeli population centers. In response, Israel launched Operation Iron Swords to counter the Hamas terror threat. Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon joined Hamas' terror war starting from the following day, attacking Israel from the north. Occasional rocket launches and shootings continued from Lebanon throughout the war. A ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal began on Nov. 24, 2023, in which Israel agreed to release 150 terrorist prisoners, pause drone surveillance in the Gaza Strip, and allow movement between the northern and southern Gaza Strip, in return for 50 Israeli female and child hostages held by Hamas. The deal was subsequently extended with additional releases, until Hamas violated the agreement and resumed attacking on Dec. 1, 2023.

Our student brothers and sisters, the [Fatah] Shabiba Student Movement and the Student Union Council at [Palestine Technical] University – Kadoorie have been expressing forever, in every stage and situation, the most wonderful expressions of solidarity with our people against the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) oppressive actions. Those who defended the sanctity of their university and their prisoners and Martyrs will not be deterred to stand alongside those who sacrificed their lives to defend the sanctity of this cause, and we salute all forms of resistance (i.e., Palestinian term that also refers to the use of violence and terror) against this occupier, with all its forms.”

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as car rammings, stabbings, and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.
