PA daily: For saying Israel is copying Hitler, Brazil’s president is an “international hero”

Official PA daily:

  • “[Brazilian President] Da Silva, [the] international hero… said: ‘What is happening to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has not happened in any other period of history. Actually, it did in fact happen, when Hitler decided to kill the Jews.’ These words, which shine with power like the sun, …reflected the truth and embodied the spirit of justice.”
  • “The ethnic cleansing state (i.e., Israel)… committed thousands of massacres and holocausts, more shocking and catastrophic than what happened in the world wars and in all the wars throughout all the periods of history”
  • “Latin America [countries]… were burned by the fire and barbarism of the American Yankee and other European colonialists”

In response to the Nazi-like atrocities of Hamas on Oct 7 that were celebrated by Fatah, the PA media, and the Palestinian population, the Palestinian Authority has increased its demonization of Israelis, comparing them regularly to Nazis.

Accordingly, when Brazilian President Luiz Inácio da Silva said that Israel was committing atrocities that haven’t been seen since Hitler killed the Jews, the Palestinian Authority was quick to praise their new ally in hate-speech. The official PA daily published a column by its regular columnist, a former advisor to PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, praising Da Silva as an “international hero” and then added to the demonization that Israel:

“committed thousands of massacres and holocausts, more shocking and catastrophic than what happened in the world wars and in all the wars throughout all the periods of history.”

Once he was celebrating hatred, the columnist decided to demonize the United States as well referring to American activities in Latin America and around the world as the “barbarism of the American Yankee.”

The following is from the column in the official PA daily:

Headline: “Da Silva, international hero”

“Brazilian President Luiz Inácio [Lula] da Silva is an important upstanding figure in the field of defending the peoples’ right to freedom, independence, and sovereignty over their homelands. He is similar to all the international heroes from Latin America and from all the continents which were burned by the fire and barbarism of the American Yankee and other European colonialists. They were not satisfied to merely liberate their lands from subordination [to colonialist states], but rather they drew the sword of justice and full support for the nations who are being oppressed and exploited by the US and its allies from the imperialist West.

Brazilian President da Silva drew the lance of justice and aimed it at the bastard Israeli state and its political and military leaders.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, [2024,] …during a meeting with journalists, he accused Israel of committing ‘annihilation’ against the Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and compared what the Hebrew state (i.e., Israel) is committing to the Holocaust of the Jews during World War II. Lula da Silva… said: ‘What is happening to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has not happened in any other period of history. Actually, it did in fact happen, when Hitler decided to kill the Jews.’

These words, which shine with power like the sun, …reflected the truth and embodied the spirit of justice… They aroused the anger and fury of the Israeli annihilation war government, because they… stripped the functional ethnic cleansing state (i.e., Israel) of the fig leaf that has hidden its shame since it arose on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba (i.e., catastrophe) in 1948 and committed thousands of massacres and holocausts, more shocking and catastrophic than what happened in the world wars and in all the wars throughout all the periods of history...

Many thanks to Brazilian President Luiz Inácio da Silva, one of the international heroes who are defending the Palestinian right and international justice.”
