Horsejumping competition held in honor of terrorist Ali Hassan Salameh

Headline: “A [horse] obstacle jumping championship will open today in Jericho – in honor of Martyr Salameh”
“This afternoon [Jan. 22, 2004] a [horse] obstacle jumping championship will be held at the horseriding club in Jericho, under the auspices of the Palestine Equestrian Federation, and this is for the anniversary of [the death of] heroic Martyr (Shahid) commander Ali Hassan Salameh ‘Abu Hassan’… Twenty-five male and female jockeys will participate in the championship.”

Ali Hassan Salameh (son of Hassan Salameh, born 1940, killed Jan. 22, 1979, also called Abu Hassan) - Commander of operations of the Black September terror organization. He planned many terror attacks, including the attack on the Israeli team at the Munich Olympics in 1972, in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered.
